  1. Please phone the day surgery unit or hospital the day before your operation to confirm the time of your admission.
  2. On the day of the surgery please do not eat or drink for six hours prior to the operation.
  3. If you take regular medication this should be taken with a sip of water. If you suffer from diabetes you will be given specific instructions.
  4. Please wear loose fitting comfortable clothes on the day.
  5. If you wear dentures or a hearing aid, please wear them on the day of surgery.
  6. Do not use eye make-up on the day of the surgery.
